• 100g sourdough bread , sliced, dried and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Freshzest Parsley - Continental, roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp Freshzest Thyme - savoury, leaves only
  • 75g dried cranberries
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 60g butter

Cranberry Crumbs with thyme and parsley.


Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Serving Size: 1 small bowl

  1. Place all ingredients except the butter in a food processor and process, but at least until well combined but still crumbly. Place butter in a medium frying pan.
  2. Heat frypan to a medium heat and when butter is melted add the crumbs from the food processor. Fry, whilst constantly stirring, until crumbs are golden and starting to go crunchy. Remove from heat and place in a separate bowl. Great served with grilled meat, on foil baked potatoes with sour cream or on buttered green vegetables.
