Lemon thyme is a member of the Thymus species which is native to the hot, arid hillsides of the Mediterranean basin. It has a wonderful, strong lemon fragrance and a mild flavour.
Lemon thyme is delicious with fish and seafood as well as roast chicken and veal dishes. It can also be used for sweet treats like biscuits and fruit salads.

Selecting - When selecting lemon thyme look for vibrant dark green leaves free from dark spots and yellowing.

Storing - Store lemon thyme in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
