Freshzest's Caniaba glasshouse is the largest of it's kind in Australia devoted solely to the production of fresh culinary herbs. It is set on 45 acres on the idyllic NSW north coast.
The glasshouse is made of 8,700 sheets of glass weighing around 12 tons.
Inside there are 566 raised hydroponic growing beds.
An automatic fogging system creates an ultra-fine mist to help regulate temperatures in the glasshouse.
When the sun gets too hot, sunshades are automatically deployed to help control the temperature.
The herbs are directly fed a special mix of nutrients throughout the day.
These chives are the best you'll taste!
Farm Manager Suzi Davison ensures the crop is well looked after.
