Quality Management

What is a Quality Management System?
According to Wikipedia.com a quality management system (QMS) can be expressed as the organizational structure, procedures, processes and resources needed to implement quality management. Quality management is made up of three components – quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement.

Nurturing delicate and volatile herbs from plot to processing to transport to your table under stringent quality assurances involves a mixture of art and science. At Freshzest our General Manager Greg Dell is responsible for, among other things, ensuring that our established Quality Management System under ISO 9002 incorporates compliance with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety program as well as Woolworths Quality Assurance Standard (WQA).

With an integrated QMS in place, Freshzest uses every means available 365 days a year, to ensure its product range is on retailers’ shelves in less than 48 hours after picking, meaning you get premium standards, optimal freshness, maximum shelf life and, always, great flavour.
